Get to Know You- Book Tag
While some of you guys have been reading my blog for quite some time, there are also some new readers here. While you may have picked up on some of my interests based on the books you've seen featured on my blog, there are also some interests that haven't been showcased yet. So that being said, I wanted to do a book tag, so you can feel like you're getting to know me. Technically, you're supposed to be tagged in a book tag, but oh well.
- What's your favorite book?
My favorite book EVER is The Princess Bride by William Goldman. But I also have a ton of books that I can read and reread, and never get tired of them.
- What was your favorite book 5 years ago?
It was still The Princess Bride, honestly.
- Favorite Duology/Trilogy/Series?
My favorite Duology is definitely The Wrath and the Dawn/The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh. Favorite Trilogy is a little more difficult, But I really loved the Ruby Red Trilogy, the Millennium Trilogy, and the Bright Young Things Trilogy. Finally, my favorite series is a tie between Harry Potter (duh), and The Princess Diaries
- What was the last book you read?
The last book I finished was The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson (Which, honestly, is on its way to becoming a new favorite of mine). However, I'm currently reading Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran.
- What was the last book of poetry you read?
I honestly haven't read poetry in a long, long time. If anyone has any poetry recommendations, let me know, because I'd like to pick up more!
- What book most influenced your life?
This was tough, but I think the book that influenced my life most was The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. It was the first Adult Fiction book that I enjoyed, plus I became a firm believer in Christ's lineage still being out there somewhere.
- What book made you ugly cry?
Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran. The first time I read this book, I stayed up until, like, 3 or 4 am reading, and completely broke down during a character death. It STILL affects me, even though I've read this book multiple times.
- What book made you laugh?
Pretty much anything my Meg Cabot, because her characters are hysterical. Also, more recently, The Queen of Second Place by Laura Peyton Roberts.
- What character would you like to be for a day?
This is so tough. Probably either Sharzhad (The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh), Andie (The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson), or Princess Mia (The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot)
- A book that was so good you dreamt about it?
- A book you DNF'd?
- What book are you most excited to read?
